Atlanta PD Arrest Attempted Murder Suspect

Earlier this month, in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood of Atlanta, a man sought for attempted murder in middle Georgia was apprehended on the streets.

The individual in question is identified as a male, aged 37, who had multiple outstanding warrants against him. These warrants encompassed charges of aggravated assault-strangulation, criminal attempt to commit murder, first-degree burglary with the intent to commit theft, possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, aggravated battery, and elder abuse.

According to the Atlanta Police, officers successfully located and apprehended the male near the intersection of McDaniel and Peters streets. A video shared on the department's Facebook page depicts the officers approaching the male and promptly placing him under arrest by placing handcuffs on him.

The law enforcement officials were alerted to the male's presence and took precautions to secure the area before proceeding with the arrest.

The warrants had been issued by Houston County, located approximately 100 miles south of Atlanta.
